Copper Sulphate

visits219

Molecular formula: CuSO4.5H2O

Properties: Blue transparent orthorhombic crystal or powder. Odorless, slowly weathering in dry air, the surface becomes white powder. When heated to 45℃, it loses one molecule of crystal water; at 102℃, it loses two molecules of crystal water; at 113℃, it loses four molecules of crystal water and becomes white copper sulfate monohydrate; at 258℃, it loses all crystal water and becomes green-white anhydrous copper sulfate powder; at 650℃, it decomposes into black copper oxide powder and releases SO3 to dissolve in water, and the aqueous solution reacts weakly acidically. Slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in anhydrous ethanol.

Specification:

Content: more than 98%

Copper: more than 25%

Lead: less than 50PPM

Water: less than 1%

Application:

Largely used in non-ferrous metal beneficiation (flotation) in th gold mining industry.

It can change the electrical properties of the mineral surface and make the mineral surface hydrophilic. This hydrophilicity can increase the contact area between the mineral and water, making the mineral easier to float. Copper sulfate can also form cations in the slurry, which are further adsorbed on the mineral surface, increasing its hydrophilicity and buoyancy.

Packaging: 25/1000/1250 kg plastic-lined woven bag
