Coconut Shell Activated Carbon for Gold Extraction

1. Application:

Activate carbon are used for adsorption and purification. Coconut shell activated carbon mainly for water and gas treatment and purification.  For example, Food industry, Water plant, Beverage factory, Power plant, and Wastewater plant, and Gold extraction and so on.

2. Raw material:

Activated carbon is made from selected coconut shell or selected coal, and refined by physical high-temperature steam activation process and water milling. With the uniform granularity, high mechanical strength, high-adsorption performance, FKN Activated Carbon is specially used in CIP,CIL and CIC method of gold recovery.

3.7 Bulk density(g/cm):0.45-0.55

4. Special coconut shell activated carbon

4.1 Water washed moisture will be 15%

4.2 Acid washed:  Adjust PH, which is for alkaline water treatment

4.3 Silver loaded activated carbon: Silver content : 0.01-0.03%, general it is enough with 0.015%.  This product is with bactericidal effect ,mainly used in domestic and water purifier.

4.4 Refined gold: general size 8-16mesh, 6-12mesh, minimum iodine value 950, gold adsorption rate one ton activated carbon adsorption 2-4 kg.  Of course, it also depends on the grade of gold mine.
